whole coconut meat in concentrated form. It's creamy consistency is the
result of grinding the high fat content meat into a fine blended powder. This is a food product not a cooking oil. Coconut Cream Concentrate™ differs from Coconut Oil in that it is the coconut. This provides the same benefits of using coconut oil with added fiber, protein, and natural sugars. It will however contain carbohydrates, due to the addition of sugar, where Coconut Oil does not. |

| HOW ARE THEY USED? | |
| Organic Virgin Coconut Oil can
be used as a substitute for all cooking oils, it can be used as a spread
for breads and crackers, it can be eaten by the spoon, or it can be blended
into anything you want to make such as smoothies, cookies, or any recipe
calling for butter. Simply use the coconut oil as a butter substitute. Organic Virgin Coconut Oil can be frozen, refrigerated, or left at room temperature. It's natural antioxidants give it an extremely long shelf life of two years. It is recommended to keep it out of sunlight for prolonged period of times. Coconut oil will be a liquid above 75 degrees and a solid at temperatures lower than that. Coconut Cream Concentrate™ is a food, not an oil. | WHAT IS LAURIC ACID? | |
| Lauric Acid is an unsaturated fatty acid found in milk,
coconut, and many other sources. Lauric acid, when joined to a glycerol
backbone with other fatty acids and compounds, may form lipids or phospholipids.
Lipids and phospholipids are used as cell membranes all over the human

A study published in 1998 in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has shown that lactating mothers who ate coconut oil and other coconut products, had significantly increased levels of lauric acid and capric acid in their breast milk. These acids are essential to protect the infant from harmful diseases and bacteria. In the study the mothers' milk supplies has increased amounts of the protective antimicrobials, which gave an even greater protection to the nursing infants. |
